Brandi Nicole Dershem, age 45, went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2023. She was born on February 8, 1978, to Laverne and Frank Ross in Shreveport, Louisiana. She met her husband, Terry Dershem, twenty-seven years ago in Des Moines, Iowa. They moved back down to Louisiana in 2005 and married in 2010. She was a loving caring wife, sister, and friend. She loved to hang out, have cookouts, and would help anyone and everyone that she could! Brandi was a good prankster! That's just how she was!

Brandi was preceded in passing by her parents Laverne Manshack Ross and Frank Ross, grandparents, seven uncles, and one aunt.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Terry Dershem; two sons Dylan Ross of Des Moines, Iowa and Beau of Heflin, Louisiana; three step children Terry Tabby, Thomas Dershem, Kelsie Renee Schmit all of Des Moines, Iowa; five sisters Carolyn and Richard Moreno of Blanchard, Louisiana, Stephanie and Vincent Furlow of Hugh Springs, Texas, Stacey Carpenter of Shreveport, Louisiana, Christina Simmons St John of Des Moines, Iowa, and Donna Anspaugh of Great Bend, Kansas; two brothers J.D. Smith of Louisiana, and Raymond Smith of Blanchard, Louisiana; ten grandchildren, one aunt and uncle, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
