Obituary

Bobbye Broom Bailey, 92, of Haynesville, LA, passed away August 10, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. Bobbye was born December 27, 1931, in Walkerville, AR, to Harry Jackson and Ranzie Sanders Broom.
Bobbye was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Fellowship Sunday School class and also Haynesville Community Church, previously known as First United Methodist Church of Haynesville, LA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John P. Bailey, sisters Verda Faye Broom and Doris Broom Johnson and son John Randall "Randy" Bailey.
Bobbye is survived by her children Rusty and wife Donna, Richey and wife Leslie, and  Laura, all of Haynesville,LA, and Mark and Kelly of Bossier City, LA; grandchildren James and wife Anna, Patrick , Troy and wife Kelly, Jessie, Emilee, Katie and husband Jeff, Kyle and fiancé Rebecca, Bryce and Ella; great grandchildren Jackson, Cayden, Anna Kate, Pepper, twins Mykelti and Declan, and Maddox: and numerous other relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 14,2024, 10AM at Haynesville Community Church. Service will be at 11AM, immediately following visitation, with Bro. Tim Cole officiating.
Interment will be at the Gordon Cemetery, Gordon Community, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Jude, Haynesville Community Church, PO Box 505, Haynesville, LA 71038 or Gordon Cemetery, PO Box 350, Haynesville, LA 71038.
