Billy Glyn Warren was born on April 23, 1937, in Ringgold, LA and passed away from this life in his home on February 10, 2024. Billy was the oldest of five children of Foster and Grace Warren. He served the City of Shreveport as a fireman for twenty-two years. He also served in the armed forces for four years. Billy was an avid fisherman and spent many days with Sammie Warren on Castor Creek trying to catch as many as they could. He loved to tell the tales of their fishing adventures.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents Foster and Grace Warren, his brother Donnie and wife Betty Warren, his sister Geneva Bates, and his brother Jerry Warren.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Carolyn Barnette Warren, his brother Larry and wife Debbie Warren, his daughter Lisa Noonan, his son Rodney Warren and wife Anna, three grandsons Dylan Noonan, Colton Warren and wife Kristie, Matthew Warren and wife Mallory, five granddaughters Cara Blanchard and husband John, Jesika Joyner and husband Joey, Jessica Sinks and husband, Adam, Hannah Baker and husband Nathan, and Elizabeth Marie Warren, seventeen great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends Harry and Barbara Mosely, and Linda Beth Warren.

Visitation will be held from 1030am-12pm on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport. A graveside service will be held at 2pm Sunday, February 18, 2024, at New Ebenezer Cemetery in Castor.
