Billy James Denison, 69, of Avinger TX., passed away on March 16, 2021 with his family by his side.

Billy is survived by his wife, Theresa Denison; His children, son Nicolas Denison and daughter Emily King and her husband Ryan King; Sister Nina Dickerson and her husband Greg Dickerson; Mother Annie Belle Denison; Grandchildren Lillian King, Breana King, Drake Denison, and Nicky Denison; Many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his favorite dog Buttons. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill S. Denison and brother, Cecil Denison.

Billy loved family and fishing. He was happiest with a pole in the water at any lake, pond, or river; especially if he had the company of a fishing buddy to spend time with. He looked forward to his Sunday lunches, fish fries, crawfish boils, and wiener dog roasts with his family. Billy was never one to boast or look for any praise. He was a quiet, gentle, and kind man who everyone loved after they met him. He was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

A memorial service for his celebration of life will be held April 10 ^th at 10:00 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Vivian, LA followed by a private graveside service at the Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery in Ida, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to make donations to the Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery at P.O.Box 299 Ida, LA 71104 or any other charity of their choice.

Also, a thank you to all the nurses and doctors at Willis Knighton Pierremont for all their hard work and kindness they showed to Billy during his stay.
