Billie Lynn Khan was born October 4, 1966 in Chicago IL. Her parents later relocated to Shreveport La where Billie lived for the remainder of her life. She was preceded in death by her mother Francis Mendels and father Richard Pickens. Billie was wed to AD Gay in the 1980s.Together they created a family that consisted of one daughter and three sons. They later divorced and Billie was wed to Babar Khan in 1992. She had many different professions which included store owner, medical assisting, certified nursing assistant, paralegal and notary public. Billie was a strong woman with a very generous heart. She was the most doting grandparent of 7 grandchildren which she spent the majority of her free time caring for. After battling kidney disease and congestive heart failure for well over 10 years she departed this life on January 11, 2024 at 6:05 PM. She will be dearly and sorely missed by her close family, friends as well as the community.
