B. Delaine Coulson was born in Shreveport, La on December 23rd, 1952, and passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.L. and Marie McDaniel and brother, Kerry McDaniel.

Delaine is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Jeff Coulson. Daughter, Kimberly Armstrong and husband Ron. Daughter, Leslie Petty and husband James. Brother, Roger McDaniel. Grandchildren, Taylor, Logan and Gracie Mullins, Brett Weathers and Ian Armstrong. Great granddaughter, Peyton Weathers.

She graduated from Woodlawn high school in 1970 and raised her family. In 1993 she graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology from LSU Shreveport and went on to earn her master's from LSU School of Social Work in 1995. Delaine realized her love for hospice work and spent the next 15 years passionately dedicated to providing compassion, comfort and direction to her patients and their families during their final days.

For the past ten years, she furiously battled the progression of Alzhiemer's with her husband and family by her side.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 1st at Aulds Funeral Home at 10am. We would like to thank the staff at The Guest House and Regional Hospice. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to The National Alzheimer's Association.
