Betty Mitchell Huricks-Shynett left us on February 4, 2019, with her family nearby in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Betty was born June 20, in Shreveport to Elijah Mitchell and Thelma Bush. She was the elder sister to Gloria, Mary Ann, Linda, and Dianne.

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Elisha & Regina and a host of nieces and nephews.

Betty was a devoted Christian whose faith allowed her to share fellowship with all she met.  Her friendly nature allowed her to touch the lives of many friends and co-workers.

We thank you for all the love, prayers and thoughts during our time of loss.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date in her honor.  In lieu of flowers or gifts, we welcome all stories of remembrance in the guest book provided.
