Betty Joiner Eddleman, age 84, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on January 21, 2025. She was born on November 6, 1940, to M.J. and Lavern Joiner in Farmerville, Louisiana. She graduated from The Fielding Institute with a Doctorate of Psychology. In addition to traveling and exploring, she was a master gardener, master diver, and enjoyed running marathons.

Preceding her in death are her husband, William Eddleman; parents M.J. and Lavern Joiner; sister Trish Lolley, and brother, Jerry Joiner.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, son Charles Jeffery MaGouirk and wife, Sharon; daughters Kathy Brasfield and husband, Barry and Deanna Capito and husband, David.

A visitation will be held at 1pm Friday, January 31, 2025, at Aulds Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport. A memorial service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Jim Wallace officiating. In lieu of flowers please consider supporting SLT.
