Betty (Trawick) Bane, age 73, of Shreveport, LA, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Willis-Knighton-Pierremont Medical Center following a motor vehicle accident. Arrangements are being handled by Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, LA. A memorial service will be postponed until her beloved husband of fifty-six years, who was also injured in the accident, can attend. Betty & Ray shared twenty-five years in the US Air Force and thirty-years in hospital management. They also enjoyed extensive travel in both careers. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Raymond Bane; one son, Sgt .Christopher Bane (Caddo Sheriff's Office) and wife, Belinda of Shreveport, LA with their two sons "CJ" & Austin; one daughter, Diana Bane of Parker, CO with her son and daughters, Kelsey, Megan, & Lexie; mother, Bradis Hamilton of Bossier City; brother, Gaines Trawick and wife, Marie of Fort Worth, TX, as well as a host of friends and her cherished dogs, Niki, Lilly, Iris, & Rosie and not forgetting Gus (the cat).
