Bessie D. Smith was born October 2, 1940 to Eddie Davenport Jr. and Lena Dupree Davenport in Shreveport, La .
She will truly be missed by the Stoner Hill/ Valencia Community. May we never forget in her words "You know, I love you."

She leaves to cherish her sister-in-law Gloria C. Davenport along with six nieces, Shirley Mae Davenport,
Evelyn Faye Robinson, Eddie Jean Wiggins, Angie Marie Davenport, Tessie Johnson Diehl, and Bessie Joan Blanchard, and three nephews, Donald Ray Davenport, Timothy Kane Davenport, and Gabriel Ivan Davenport, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family hour will be Thursday May 8, 2025 from 5pm-6pm at Aulds Funeral Home
Funeral will be held on Friday May 9, 2025 10am- 10:30am at Aulds funeral Home
Burial at Lincoln Cemetery
Repast will be at Valencia Recreation Center from 11am-3pm
