Benjamin Issac Dupont (Big Ben,) was born January 26, 1965, in Shreveport, LA. He was a father, a husband, and a beloved grandfather to his family. He spent his days at the Dupont's Fish Market, his farm, and on the bayous and waters of Louisiana and beyond. He was the type to never know a stranger for long and had many friends and acquaintances throughout his time on this Earth. He died June 18th, 2022.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents, Elzia and Dan Dupont, Sister Vallie Dupont, Brother Paul Dupont, Brother-in-law Billy Wynn Sr. Nephews Dell Ray Pierce, Justin Fricks, Phillip Fricks Jr, Cody Wynn, Great Niece Kady Harville, and close friends Joe Ghould and Dick Tinsley.

He is Survived by his Children Katherine Dupont, Benjamin Dupont II, Blake ( D'Wayne) Dupont-Mcworter and Iliad (Savannah) Dupont, Grandkids Alexandra Bryant, Bennett Bryant, Benjamin Dupont III, Grayson Woods, Alaina Dupont, Brilleigh Dupont, And Bryston Dupont. By his sisters Julie Wynn, Dianne (Gene) Harville, Mary (Dale) Harville, Linda (Clifford) Bickham, Fay (Richard) Allen, Shelia (Steve) Evans, Debbie Dupont, and Brothers Daniel (Jackie) Dupont, Don (Jane) Dupont.
