Memorial services for Becky Lorraine Pevy Alford, age 71, will be held on Tuesday, December 21, at 12:00 pm at Bible Baptist Tabernacle in Sibley, Louisiana. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 11:00 am; followed by a graveside service at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Officiating the service will be her nephew, Don Tinsley of Shreveport, Louisiana.

Becky Alford went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 17, surrounded by her daughter, Stacy, and husband Les. She won the victory over her illnesses and was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her parents, Floyd and Casciel Pevy, and her brother, Jerry Pevy.

Becky is survived by her husband, Les Alford, daughter, Stacy Taylor (Shannon), son, Steven Fornea, and Tracy Moore (Jeff).
Beloved grandchildren, Mason Cupples (Megan), Dayton Taylor (Abbey), Austin Taylor, Shepard Taylor, Morgan Monday (Kody), Madison Fornea, Zachary, Taylor, and Christopher Moore. Her legacy also includes eight great grandchildren. Also left to cherish her life and memory are her brothers and sisters, Dinah Tinsley, Mickey Bush (Andy), Dan Pevy (Pam), Tracy Pevy (Jeannie). She also leaves behind many cousins, family and close friends who loved her dearly.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Casciel Pevy; maternal grandparents, John Ocie and Del Stewart; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Vashti Pevy; and her brother, Jerry Pevy.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews, with her cousins serving as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Mt. Olive Cemetery Association in Jamestown, Louisiana. The family would also like to give special thanks to Sheena Page for her love and support.

Becky truly loved the Lord and always recognized His many blessings. She will be remembered for her considerate and caring spirit, and her loving and loyal heart.

Gone from this Earth, but never forgotten. God has a beautiful new angel by His side.
