Bart Duane Anderson, 56 years old, passed away June 5, 2016 at his home in Shreveport, LA.

"Bartman" was born on May 16, 1960 in Burbank, CA to Robert Lyle Anderson and Janet Ruth Anderson.

Bart grew up in the San Fernando Valley with his brother Bob, and his sisters Debbie Wessig and Tammy Lewis. This is where Bart met and married the love of his life, Cindi. In those 35 years, Bart and Cindi raised two wonderful daughters, Janet and Tiffaney. The love and unwavering devotion to Bart from all three of them remained constant, helping him remain happy and comfortable to the very end when liver cancer took him from this world. Besides Cindi, Janet and Tiffaney, Bart is also survived by Janet's husband, Adam Kurtz, and their son, Landyn Kurtz, and Tiffaney's sons, Justice Weikel and Jordan Anderson.

Bart will always be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his country, and for being a strong, positive influence in everyone's life who knew him, and of course his never fading boyish grin.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Aulds Funeral Home.
