Barre Taylor Simpson Sr. Born in Milford, CT passed unexpectedly on July 28, 2021 in Bossier City, LA at the age of 69.  We will celebrate his life at Indian Hills Baptist Church on August 28th at 1 PM lunch to follow.

Barre was born to Leslie Derwent Simpson and Joan Carolyn DeBisschop in Milford, CT. He was a wonderful father, friend to many, and loved everyone. Also, as an Army veteran he served and loved his country. Now, he is joyfully reunited with his son Danny & his mother in Heaven also many other loved ones who have gone before him. Barre loved his church family and was a member of Indian Hills Baptist church for many years where he was a pillar of the choir.  Barre was very loved, always quick with a joke & a smile, He will be missed tremendously.

Barre Simpson Sr is survived by the love of his life Angel Heranney and eight children. Cheri Recio and husband Jose, Barre Simpson Jr., Michael Simpson and wife Laura, Jessica and Husband Chris, Jon and Andrew.  The grandchildren are Stephen, Dakota, Brandon, Nicolette, Jocelyn, Lexi, Reina,  Barre Taylor III "B3", Danny, Breanna, Kristen, Baylee, Alex, Cruz, Charlotte, and Milo.  He also has three great grandchildren Grayson, Penny, and Serena.
