Mira, LA - A memorial service celebrating the homecoming of Barbara Ann Womack, age 71, will be held at 2:00 pm on June 21, 2014 at New Beginnings Church of Princeton. Barbara was born July 23, 1942 in Shreveport, LA to Jack Burniston and Laverne C. Womack and passed away on June 10, 2014 at Town and Country Nursing Home in Minden, LA. She loved her family and she loved Jesus with her heart, mind and soul. She accepted Jesus into her life May 11, 1997 and she has been serving Him ever since. Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert "Johnny" Womack, mother Laverne C. Womack and 3 sons, whom she is loving on right now. She is survived by her son, Trey Womack and wife Kristina of Gilliam, daughter Alicia Leitch and husband Vance of Princeton. She is also survived by sisters, Deborah Collins of Florida and Pam Robinson of Missouri, and brother Randy Womack of Shreveport. Three grandchildren; Reba Womack, Anna Womack and Ashlyn Leitch. Three great grandchildren; Carson and Claryssa Decoteau and Kaden Giggard, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the nurses and CNA's of Town and Country Nursing Home, for all the love, support and help they have shown to Barbara.
