Ardis Ray Crank was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 19, 1948 to John and Thelma Crank and passed away on July 20, 2018. He served his country in the Army as a dog handler and went on to become a Caddo Parish Deputy before he became very ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Thelma Crank.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Brenda Ann Crank; two daughters, Melissa Ann Ritch, and Tammy Renee Ortego; one son, Denny Ray Crank. Also surviving Mr. Crank are eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held for Mr. Crank at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2018 at Centuries Memorial Cemetery in Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Aulds Funeral Home Chapel.
