In Loving Memory of Anthony Tyrone Ervin

January 15, 1973 – August 31, 2025

Anthony Tyrone Ervin was born on January 15, 1973, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was educated in the Bossier Parish School System and proudly graduated from Airline High School. His deep ties to the school remained strong, as he served as a dedicated employee of Airline High School until his passing.

Anthony was known for his infectious smile, kind heart, and joyful spirit. A true sports enthusiast, he was a passionate fan of the New Orleans Saints. He shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Diamond, who preceded him in death just two weeks prior.

In his free time, Anthony found joy in watching movies, playing card games and video games, cheering on his favorite teams, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. His laughter, generosity, and fun-loving nature left an unforgettable mark on all who knew him.

Anthony was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his cherished dog, Diamond.

He leaves to celebrate and cherish his memory: his loving mother, Katherine Ervin McCaskill; his father, Jodie Ray Ervin; one brother, Jodie Bernard Ervin; two sisters, Leola Dotson (Herbert) and Alicia Shaw; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
