Ann Marie Best passed away on the morning of March 4, 2023, in Bossier City, Louisiana. She was born on March 24, 1971, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Daniel and Nancy Best. A visitation will be held on Thursday March 9th, from 12pm-1pm at Summer Grove Baptist Church with the memorial service to follow right after, with Brother Gerald Dyess officiating. Following the grave site service the family will welcome loved ones for a celebration of life at Summer Grove Baptist church.

Ann Marie loved and lived for her family. Even though she was the youngest of seven siblings, throughout her life, she was the caretaker and the glue that held them together. When she became a mother to her three girls, she found her purpose in life:  putting her family before anything else.  For as much as she loved being a mother, she loved being a NeeNee even more to Mason, Carter, Madison, and Boston. She spent her free time (and money) on her grandkids to ensure they created special memories together.

Ann Marie loved country music, especially her first love, George Strait. She enjoyed creating crafts for her family and spending her time helping those who needed extra care.

She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Best, her mother, Nancy Best, and her brother, Edward Best. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Brittney Best and fiancé Buddy; Chelsey Best and wife Alisha; Meghan Gentzler, Courtney Gentzler, and Kaitlyn Gentzler; grandchildren Mason, Carter, Madison, and Boston; siblings, Patty Remedies and husband Richard; Tommy Best, Terry Best, Jerry Best, and Joe Best and wife Kelly; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Remedies, Brandon Bradford, Ryan Best, Tyler Best, Edward Best, Wayne Best and Daniel Best with honorary pallbearers Mason and Carter Best.

Ann Marie was a mother to all who knew her, she was greatly loved and will be missed dearly. Her memory will live on through the stories we tell.
