Shreveport, LA- Anita Gail Taylor, age 57, of Blanchard, Louisiana was called unexpectedly to her home in Heaven on May 11, 2016. She was born December 5, 1958, in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Ollie Morris and Everlina Morris. Anita was a graduate of Northwood High School in 1976. For twelve years she worked for Citizens National Bank where she always felt right at home, with all her friends, and some that later became family. Anita always surrounded herself with her children and loved ones. Her love for her kids was very profound and everyone knew. On top of her love for her children, she was very free spirited and loved horses and nature.

Anita was preceded in death by her father, Ollie Morris; her mother, Everlina Morris; and her brother Glen Dale Morris.

Left to cherish and carry on Anita's memory will be her husband, Donnie Taylor; her son, Shay Strong; and her daughter, Skyla Strong; her sister Myrna Wisdom; her brother Roy Morris, along with many other extended family members and wonderful friends.

Honoring Anita as pallbearers will be: Shay Strong, Robert Jenkins, Michael Shelton, Theo Christian, Charlie Schluter, and Dannie Webster.

Memorial Services for Anita Gail Taylor, will be held Monday, May 16, 2016 at 11:00 am, Graveside Service at Memorial Gardens North with Bro. Dale Sauls of First Baptist Church Blanchard officiating. Reception will immediately follow at Connie Jenkins home at 238 Maple Ave Blanchard, LA. The family will be receiving guests for visitation Sunday, May 15, 2016, from the hours of 5-7 p.m. at Aulds Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport.
