Anita Louise Lucas Knight, age 81, passed away peacefully to her heavenly home on April 2, 2021.  Anita was born on January 14, 1940 to Esther and Verby Lucas. She was very much a people person, and loved talking with folks.  She was also an active crafter, and loved to make crosses to distribute to friends and family. She loved doing Bible studies with other ladies.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas Knight. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Gregory and Pamela Knight, her daughter and son in law, Robbin and Jim Kent, and grandchildren Mickey Kent and Abigail Kent.

A celebration of life will be held at Aulds Funeral Home,  in Shreveport, LA, Wednesday April 7, 2021. Visitation will be held at 10 am to 12 pm with services to follow at 12pm. Internment will be at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana.  Donations may be made to American Lung Association in lieu of flowers.
