Angela Elzy, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully on the morning of January 11, 2026. She was 62 years old. She was a beautiful soul, inside and out, and even as a child, she was the life of the party.

The family would like to thank you all for your many calls, texts, words of comfort, love and support during this time of grief. We love and appreciate each of you!

We would also like to give a special thank you to the Willis-Knighton North ICU department.

Angela leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Brandon Elzy, and Noah Shields. She also leaves her sister Sonya M. Winzer, her brothers, Oliver Casey, John T. Casey, Willie D. Casey, Rogdric R. Casey, and a “special nephew”, D. J. Casey, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts!

We are so HEARTBROKEN, but we know GOD makes No mistakes! Please keep the family in PRAYER!

There will be No Public services! We will Celebrate her Life and Homegoing with Her immediate family ONLY at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, as soon as time permits.
