Angela Joy "Linda" Best

Angela Joy "Linda" Best passed away on the morning of May 11, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born on January 17, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to Andrew and Patricia Wroblewski. She moved to Shreveport in 1982 where she resided until her passing. She met her husband, Terry Best, the very first night she lived in Louisiana, and they were married for 38 wonderful years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Wroblewski, her father, Andrew Wroblewski, and her favorite cousin (who was more like a sister) Betty McElroy.

During her 38 years of marriage with Terry, they began a life together and eventually welcomed two daughters, Meagan and Mindy. Linda loved her family. As soon as they had their daughters, Linda become a stay-at-home mom. She was at every field trip, school event, play, and sporting event. Her family was her everything. As a family, they loved to travel on their yearly trips from amusement parks to camping to site seeing in the big cities because they wanted their daughters to have memories and experiences.

Linda was the life of the party, the "cool" mom that every friend loved to visit. Her sense of humor, her kindness, her compassion, and her protectiveness over her loved ones made her the amazing person she was.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Terry Best, daughters, Meagan and Mindy Best, her brother, Michael Wroblewski (Krissy), and many extended family and friends from Chicago and Shreveport who loved her dearly.

A visitation will be held for her on Monday, May 16, 2022 beginning at 1pm at Auld's Funeral Home in Shreveport, with a memorial service at 2pm. Following the grave site service, the family will welcome loved ones for a celebration of life at Ernest's Orleans Restaurant in Shreveport.

Linda was a great wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her, but her life will always be remembered, cherished, and celebrated
