Andrew Nathan York, age 53 of Shreveport, LA, passed away on September 1, 2024, after a motorcycle accident. He was born on August 24, 1971, in Spokane, WA.  Andrew worked for Lagniappe Landscapes at the time of his death.

Andrew had a passion for riding motorcycles with his friends, spending time with his family at cookouts and celebrations but his real love was for his dog, Chaos, who brought so much joy and companionship to Andrew.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Arthur York and Sibyl Washburn Pinkerton,

He is survived by his brother Wesley H. York and wife Barbara York of Shreveport, LA, nephews Jonathan York and wife Taylor York of Bossier City, LA, Christopher York and Elora Butterfield of Stonewall, LA and great nephew, Easton York of Bossier City, LA. He is also survived by Judy York, his stepmother.  Andrew will be most remembered for his strong faith in God, his love for his family and friends, and his big heart.

Andrew's family welcomes friends to attend a visitation at Aulds Funeral Home & Crematory in Shreveport, LA on Saturday September 7th from 10:00-12:00. The family will have a private memorial for Andrew at a later date.  To honor Andrew's memory, the Northwest Louisiana Sports Bike Group will be holding a ride September 28th at 4:00 pm located at the Clyde Fant Memorial Park.  The family also wishes to express their deep appreciation to everyone who has reached out and expressed their condolences and prayers during this difficult time.

While he will be deeply missed, it brings the family comfort to know that Andrew is reunited with his loved ones and is standing in the presence of God. Til we see each other again, rest easy Andrew.
