Amy Rebecca Triplett Cassidy passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the age of 46. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on June 25, 1978, to Sandra Caudle Triplett and Daniel Morgan Triplett.

Amy attended A. C. Steere, Broadmoor, C. E. Byrd, and Northwestern University in Natchitoches. She has lived and raised her family in California for over twenty years.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donna and William Triplett, Martha and Murray Caudle, and her brother, Clay Triplett. She is survived by her parents, her sons, Banyan and Quinn Cassidy, and her beloved dog, Lily. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Our treasured loved one, Amy, will be remembered for her beautiful smile and laughing eyes, full of warmth and generosity. A lover of craftwork, swimming, and a fierce competitor on the soccer field, her talents were many – the best being her ability to make people smile. Amy lived on the lighter side of life and had a delicate eye for the finer things for which she adorned everything around her. Having a deep appreciation for music, she followed the song that lived in her heart, leading her to settle in Grass Valley, California, where she dedicated her life to raising her two beautiful sons. She touched many children and families working as a preschool teacher with her natural gift of nurturing and love. Her depth of power and strength was evident in all she did, from when she cycled around Lake Tahoe with her mom to her short battle with cancer – she was fearless and brave.

A casual visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 E. Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115. Following the visitation, a gathering for friends and family will be held at the Elks Club Lodge.
