Funeral services honoring the life of Alice "Susie" Philyaw Denmon, 69, will be held at Aulds Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18th at 10:00am with Pastor Donnie Vercher officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park West. Visitation will be at Aulds Funeral Home on Monday, August 17th from 5pm-7pm. Susie was born on June 6, 1946 and she went to be with The Lord on August 13, 2015. She was a resident of Desoto Parish for over 50 years, and she was a friend to many at Frierson Plaza Apartments. She was a sweet soul, who had a special love for animals, including her dog, Sandy. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Georgia "Jackie" Prudhome; Stepfather, Willie "Pewee" Prudhome; Father, Clyde Philyaw; and Brother James Bernard Harold. Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters Annette Prudhome Sepulvado, Charlotte Towns, Deborah Gray, Janelle Veuleman and Marie "Midge" Whitworth; her brothers, Larry Prudhome and Danny Ray Prudhome, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Krause and Dr. Nelson at WK Pierremont Hospital.
