Aaron Lee Free, age 59, passed away Thursday July 3, 2025 in Little Rock, AR. He was born November 8, 1965 in Shreveport, LA.
Funeral Services will be held 1 P.M.Tuesday July 8, 2025 at the Aulds Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport, LA officiated by Patti Foster. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery in Marthaville, LA at 3:30 P.M. officiated by Butch Bruce.
Aaron was a strong hardworking man. He was loving and devoted to his family. Aaron was passionate about God, his grandchildren, family, animals, and anyone who needed a helping hand. He was a great mechanic and welder. He would spend long hours repairing or rebuilding vehicles, motorcycles, or anything that needed fixing. He accepted any challenge that came his way.
Outdoors was Aaron's happy place. Walking through the woods, across a field, hunting, trapping, and fishing with his dad and Papaw was some of his favorite memories. He enjoyed rodeos, riding horses, motorcycles and spending fun times with his brother, sister, cousins and friends.
Aaron had a big sense of humor, an infectious laugh. He loved teasing, pulling pranks and making people laugh.
Aaron loved with all his heart. He was fiercely loyal and protective over those he cared about.
Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lee Free, sister, Shelby LeAnn Free, brother, Todd Edward Free, paternal grandparents Truly and Martha Lea Free, maternal grandparents Ervin and Doris Keene. Numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Aaron is survived by the love of his life "Becca" Rebecca Miller Free: children son, Brett Litwin: daughters, Megan Gentry (Garrett),Carissa Smith (Ashton), Allison Litwin Agu (Anthony), Katelan Litwin: grandchildren, Eli Smith, Isabell Smith, and 2 step-grandchildren. mother Judy Keene Free, niece Melissa Polk Russell (Daniel): cousin-twin Susan Free Blandino (Randy), lifelong friend Debbie Coleman and numerous other cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Pallbearers will be; Susan Blandino, Tamatha Free, Kirk Lee, Brett Litwin, Ashton Smith, Anthony Agu, Randy Blandino and Robbie Metcalf.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you for the excellent care provided by the teams of dedicated medical professionals at both Carti Cancer and Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, with a very special thank you to Dr. Raja and Dr. Gentry with Carti Cancer Center, and his registered nurse April, on 7B that cared for him the last days of his time on earth with us. She helped bring peace and comfort to both the family and to Aaron during this very difficult transition. She insured that Aaron was pain free and as comfortable as medically possible in the end of life and our family will never be able to fully express the appreciation we have for the compassionate nursing care she provided.
