Biography

Patty Ann Crow (Wall) Hurst, age 63, of Shreveport, LA, died Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at Willis Knighton Bossier Health Center in Bossier City, LA after a lengthy illness.
Services celebrating our daughter, sister, wife, mother and best of all our Nonnie will be held at 2:00pm, November 21, 2009 in “The River” at Broadmoor United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Kathy Wafer. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service begins.
Preceding her in death was her father John Wall, infant brother, and David L. Crow father of her children.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Frances (Abney) Wall; her mother-in-law, Kathleen Crow; father-in-law, Forrest Hurst; sister, Salley Nehring and husband, Steve; her husband of thirty-five years, David Hurst; son, Truett Crow and wife; Sandra; two daughters, Kimberly Crow Hilman and Catherine Crow Nance and husband, John; nephew, John Evans; her honorary adopted children, Chuck Bowman, Phillip Loar, Melanie Rowald, Grace Ann Blake, Pam Powell and best of all her grandchildren, Peyton and Andrew Crow, Logan and Jayden Hilman and John Douglas Nance; as well as her honorary adopted grandson, Sam Randolph.
Her family would like to send special thanks to her doctors and nurses, Dr. Nathan, Dr. SanPedro, Dr. Paul, and Dr. Williams, Joy Britt, Tiffany, Maria, and Myosha for all the love, compassion and late night talks shown to our family during our mother’s time of illness. We know that God sent you to us to help her. Her family would like to thank her caregivers, Nancy, Miss Betty, Robbie Coburn, Aunt Lynn, Wade and Willie for allowing Aunt Mel to drive from Texas to care for our mother.
